Noel James DeGaetano, 69, of Tuckahoe, died on Aug. 26, 2012. Beloved husband of Deanna. Devoted father of Noah DeGaetano and Kira DeGaetano Souzza, loving son of Dominick DeGaetano and the late Edith DeGaetano, Cherished Grandfather of Tymaya Scott and Joaquim Souza and dear brother of Robert DeGaetano. Noel DeGaetano began his career as an assistant of sculptor Louise Nevelson and received a fellowship grant to pursue his art through the Wurlitzer Foundation in Taos, NM. DeGaetano was the long time director of the Noel Fine Art Gallery in Westchester and a well known visual artist who's work has been exhibited internationally and is part of many collections. Memorial visitation at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. 190 Main St., Eastchester on Thursday, August 30 from 7-9PM, and Friday, August 31 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. There will be a Memorial prayer service at 7:30 PM on Friday, including prayers, music, eulogy and sharing.
