My Resolution

Mom how did 2012 become the best and worst year of my life? “You don’t have cancer” said the doctor. Five years of waiting to hear those words and it was as I imagined~ the sweetest words to be heard. Like a baby’s first cry for life~I was reborn. I needed those words to be spoken. For myself, for my children, for a better today. I needed to feel the truth of those words and looking into my children’s faces I did feel all the power that those four words held. Despair and pain was replaced with joy, with hope, with life! 2012 is coming to an end in a couple of hours and it has ended with the greatest loss of my life. You left my side mom. I can choose to too bring 2013 in with a heavy heart, but I don’t want you to be disappointed in me. So I choose to celebrate that You saw my health restored, saw the strength and beauty within my children, Mom, you saw the Rose of Sharon you planted bloom wild around my home and we shared a week filled with love and faith and with grace we held each other. With Your Spirit to help guide me I will find the courage to take one step at a time and find the beauty in all that is given to me. For You My Mom I will LIVE a life that will not disappoint You!
