Dear Meg, I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral after all. I had to be in NJ all day yesterday and could not get to the wake either. My parents live there now and I was caring for them. They are not healthy enough to come to the wake or the funeral and they asked me to send their regrets. (My Mom is very uncomfortable with e-mail, etc.) I am not able to get out of work on short notice, just saw the OBIT on Tuesday am. I am disappointed because I wanted to come and represent the Kebschull family and myself. Your dad was special to us. I was also hoping to see you. (I don't have your address to send cards, etc. so I am relying on this method of communication.) I wish you the comfort of friends and family and the comfort of knowing how much your father is appreciated, the good memories he left with so many. Love, Heidi
