John popped in to my head, I guess because today is the anniversary of my Father's passing, so I Googled his name with the hope that I would be able to connect with him after many decades. John was assigned to protect my Dad in 1956 to assure that he would not become a victim of revenge for testifying against the infamous Joey Gallo. John became a close friend of the family, and a man that I held dear to my heart. I'm deeply saddened by his passing. He was very instrumental in teaching me a smarter and safer way to conduct my life and I will be forever grateful. Please accept my deepest condolences. John was a very brave, strong, proud, and extremely loveable and loyal man. I will share my old relationship with John with my children, who were never told about the issue that brought John into my life, but I want them to know that the world lost a truly wonderful, strong and loving human being. I pray that he rests in Peace, and that all of you in his family remember the beauty of John and find comfort that he is in a place of love and respect.
