Condolence From: Dominick Scaramuzzino
Condolence: Although no longer a patient of Dr. Salimbene, I had been for many years as a child and then as an adult. He was a kind gentleman who was always attentive to his patient's needs, a true humanitarian who has left an indelible mark on my life. He will forever live in my heart and thoughts.

Condolence: My prayers and condolences to marie and the family. Doc was always so generous with his gifts to me and to all. A great man whom i greatly admire.
I am saddened by this tragic news but he is a man of great faith and he continues to live on in the lord. I had attempted to contact him on his pager but he never returned my call, i woke up this morning and the first thought was that he had passed on. I believe he was letting me know what had happened. He will continue to love and serve all of us from heaven just as he did on earth. I often recall and share his john wayne story when he was studying in rome. I will miss you doc, and thank you for being such a great example of christian love. Pray for us my friend.
My prayers especially go out to you marie. I am with you in spirit.

Condolence: I was so shocked and am saddened to hear of the tragic fire and death of Dr. Salimbene. My 2 brothers & 2 sisteres went to Immaculate Heart of Mary with his children and I was in the same class as his daughter Debbie. My family has known his family for years. I will always remember them as a wonderful family and Dr. Salimbene as a kind man with a wonderful smile. We lost our father just this past July. It is sad enough to lose a loved one through natural causes, but through a sudden tragedy so much more difficult. My thoughts and prayers are and will be with all of the Salimbene family, especially his wife.

Condolence: We wish to share our deepest condolences to Doc Salimbene and his family.
I,Carole, fondly remember working with him at Lawrence Hospital where he lit up the unit with his cheery and caring presence each time he arrived to care for his patients. He was an extraordinary physician and a gentleman. Whenever I reported a patient to him, I remember he would put his hand on my shoulder as I spoke. Never was he gruff or dismissive, always engaged and interested. He will be sorely missed.
We wish his family peace and fondest memories.

Condolence: My deepest and heartfelt condolences to the entire Salimbene family. Dear doctor, you were small in stature but your dedication to the community, your family and profession resonated enormously. Thanks for being there when we needed you and thank you for your military service as well. I have the fondest memories of your yearly Christmas decorations. Always made a special trip just to see them spending hours glossing over each display and twinkling lights. You brought happiness to many. A huge heart full of love and devotion. God bless you and may God continue to bless your family. Respectfully, Chris Ciullo and family
