Mr. DeRito way my auto mechanics teacher at Mt. Vernon high school from 1966-67. I remember him as a great teacher and someone who was always good for a little kidding around. He was one of my favorite teachers, so much so that I want back to see him after basic training in the ARMY. I am very sorry for your loss.
