Thomas “Murf” Murphy, at 65, passed away on August 9, 2022. Thomas was born on March 29, 1957 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Suffern, NY. He had a passion for cooking, fishing and being with his family. He had this infectious energy that everyone wanted to be around and that energy followed you; whether it be a phrase, a recipe or a corny, sometimes inappropriate joke. He was a devoted father, brother and husband and will be deeply missed. Thomas was the son of Daniel and Loretta Murphy. He is survived by his beloved wife Lucille Murphy, his two brothers: Dennis and Tim Murphy, his four children: Colette, Thomas, Megan and Kimberly Murphy and is predeceased by his brother Daniel James Murphy.
Visitation will be held on Friday August 12, 2022 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at the Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester, NY. The Funeral Mass will be held at 1030am on Saturday August 13, 2022 at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe, NY.
