Dear Terrie and family, Our hearts are deeply saddened by the sudden loss of Steve. He was one of the first people I met as a widow with a young child just moving to Tuckahoe. He welcomed us and knowing my son lost his Dad he proceeded to coach my son in T-ball and enrolled him in Boy Scouts with his son Steven. The boys grew up together and went all through school as friends and remain friends till today. We watched Steven, Megan and Zack grow into fine adults. Terrie you and Steve made a wonderful family to be respected and admired. You could feel the love you and Steve shared when in your presence. Steve personified the words family and community. He gave back in so many ways and was beloved by all who knew him. I currently live in New Jersey but I was in Eastchester at the local CVS and ran into Steve and he hugged and kissed me and said “ What are you doing here I thought you lived in New Jersey” I told him I was visiting my son and grandson and we stood in the aisle reminiscing about when our children were young. When we parted he flashed that big smile We will always remember him that way . We are truly broken hearted and we know that even though Steve is not here with us he truly lives in the hearts of all he touched. Terrie your love for Steve and your beautiful children and grandchildren will fill your heart with joy and this sadness will be reduced to a beautiful memory till you are all reunited in Heaven. May God bless you all always. With much love and sympathy, The Gambardelli Family.

Our deepest condolences to Terrie, Steve's children, and his grandchildren. We got to know Steve pretty well in the last three years while he worked on renovations here. He was the best. I posted a little tribute here: https://www.instagram.com/p/C5Y52MsLEm_/
