Obituary for Steven D. Fialkow

Steven D. Fialkow
It is with great sadness that the family of Steven David Fialkow announces his passing on Friday, November 9, 2018, at the age of 59. Steven was the President and CEO of National Home Health Care for about 30 years and was greatly respected and well known by everyone who spoke to him for a few minutes, or knew him for many years. During his 30-year tenure, he helped touch and change the lives of many. He built a successful management team that still stands strong today thanks to his leadership. He handled obstacles with dignity and ease. His greatest accomplishments were the love of his life, his wife, Susan, and the lights of his life, his three children, Michael, Lauren, and Andrew. He was humble beyond words and always saw the good in anyone or any situation. He loved watching Lauren in the performing arts, watching Andrew play football, and enjoyed watching TV and playing sports with Michael – pretty much anything that included spending quality time with his children. He had a passion for softball, basketball, music (particularly Bruce Springsteen and Fleetwood Mac), the piano, drums, and watching his beloved sports teams including the Yankees, Knicks, and Jets. He will be lovingly remembered by his sisters, Ilene (Tom), Sandra, and his second-mother, Anita. He had a great relationship with his in-laws, Fran and Rich, Michele and Derek, Chris and Anna, and Karen, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his parents Frederick and Phyllis, who he adored, and his brother-in-law, Vincent, with whom he had a special relationship. He will be forever in our hearts.
