Sandella "Sandy" Conese, lifelong resident of Eastchester, died on June 17, 2013. She was 84. Sandy worked for many years in the Eastchester Recreation Department.
Sandy was predeceased by her brothers, Peter and Frank, her sister, Josephine Amodio, her nephews, Vincent and James Amodio, and niece, Nancy Delmerico.
Sandy is survived by her nephew, Peter Conese, and his wife, Kathy, and children, Michael, Kathleen, and Jeffrey, as well as several other nieces and nephews.
The family would like to express deep gratitude to dear friends Marguerite Jamesley, her husband Marty Rolnick, and Richard Jamesley and their supportive families for their love and care of Sandy throughout the years.
The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester, on Thursday, June 20, 2013 from 5-8pm. Requiem Mass, Friday June 21, 2013 at 10:30am at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment to follow at Holy Mount Cemetery, Eastchester.
