Condolence From: Christopher Misiti
Condolence: My sincere condolences to the family. I can’t believe this has happened. We used to deliver together when I was with Frito Lay and you were with Coors Canada Dry. Then we crossed paths at New York State DOT. We worked for 4-5 years here, plowing on 684 through the toughest storms. We were both looking to advance our careers, you went into Corrections and I went to White Plains. I’m deeply saddened to hear about this. Taken away so young. Rest easy brother!

Condolence: I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to Ross's entire family at this time. It's been several years since Ross and I last ran into one another and spoke, but I always remembered him with good, positive memories whenever I reflected on my younger days. He was one of my close circle of friends all throughout school, from Columbus through MVHS, and we also made First Communion together at old Mount Carmel. So we went back quite a long way, and I am indeed a bit sorry we didn't keep regular contact in subsequent years, although we ran into each other a few times after high school. When we did chance to meet, we picked right up and chatted as though no time had elapsed. We had many tastes and interests in common (cars, music, outlook on life, etc.) and his personality, good nature, loyalty and humor made for plenty of fun, enjoyable times in the high school courtyard. I will never forget Ross and I will forever recall a guy who was genuine, gregarious, down to Earth and always looked out for and stuck up for his friends. There is no better tribute I can offer than to say I am grateful to have known Ross Magnuson and been his friend. He'll be missed.
