Condolences & Tributes

I first met Bobby at the YAI Riverdale residence in 1994/1995 when I was a volunteer there.
When I started my career with YAI Westchester in 2003, I was so happy to find Bobby living at the Rose Lane.
Bobby had the most handsome smile and infectious laugh.
He was such a big part of the Rose Lane and YAI family.
He will be missed by many.
My deepest condolences to Patrina and the family.

Rest peacefully my sweet cousin Bobby- the most loving purest soul one could ever hope to meet. He is the embodiment of pure, unselfish love. Just being in Bobby’s presence made people feel better about themselves since one was instantly reminded of all the goodness that exists in the world. His ability to light up a room and to give love was enveloping. Aunt Carmela loves you so much Bobby. My Aunt Pat and Uncle Bob devoted their lives to Bobby and their love knew no bounds- a shining example of what parenting is all about and an example of what a loving marriage is under challenging circumstances-true roles models. We are comforted to know that our Bobby is reunited with his beloved father Bob, his Grandma Rose, Grandpa Caesar, Nana Emma, Papa Harry and niece Melissa. I hope the sun is shining, Andrea Bocellis voice is even sweeter in heaven and that God, Blessed Mother and Jesus wrap their loving arms around and protect you. Please pray for my Aunt Pat and our family for strength and fortitude. We love you so much our sweet Bobby- this is not goodbye- it is until we meet again.🙏💚

I was Bobby's teacher for my first 3 years at YAI. My co worker was Melvina Freeman who always had a great relationship with Bobby. When I first started working at YAI Melvina told me how Bobby would quickly push to get up out of his chair whenever his dad would come and pick him up from program. I honestly didnt believe it because almost every other moment I had seen Bobby transfer from his wheelchair or just move in general he was very slow and didnt move fast at all. So the first time I witnessed Mr Fink come to pick Bobby up I payed extra attention to see if she was telling the truth. Mr Fink walked in the room unbeknownst to Bobby and he walked up behind him and said something in his ear and sure enough there went Bobby moving quicker than I ever saw him move trying to get up for his dad.

I still work at Tarrytown so I would cross paths with bobby throughout the years and every-time I saw him Id make sure to play fight with him lol.. Bobby was a great guy. He will truly be missed. My condolences to his family and all those who loved him.

Robert Fink❤️A loveable, easy going, playa🙂. I worked with Bobby for 14 years. He was amazing!!!!! Good, bad, ups, downs Bobby was a trooper. His family was phenomenal. His father Mr. Fink devoted, loving, full of life. Mrs. Fink the most doting, devoted, loving, caring mother I ever met. Bobby's 50th Birthday Bash was FUN! My most heartfelt deepest condolences to Mrs. Fink & The Entire Family. I will miss Bobby a great deal. You all are in my prayers. Love and peace Angela Zimniak, Angelina Bell, & Anastasia Ortega. 💔😞

This is Vinny Scala. I’m Joy & Mike Troiano’s friend. I have known Joy for 43 years and have met Bobby a few times over the years at family events. I can only say that the loving care he received from Uncle Bob & Aunt Pat was really a thing of great beauty. Despite his disabilities, he seemed to enjoy being with his family and his face and eyes always reflected that. The service this morning at Our Lady of Fatima was the nicest funeral service I’ve been to in more than 10 or 15 years. Beautiful eulogies. Beautiful send off. Teresa and I send our deepest condolences to Aunt Pat, Patty, Jennifer, Fred, Chris, Carmela, Joy and Mike and the entire family. His inner beauty was an inspiration to the rest of us. RIP Bobby. xox

Bobby has always been a fun and loving person, he could give you a back rub if you weren’t feeling good and a hug when you really needed it. He had an amazing sense of humor and he always laughed when I would dance in the living room. A quick yooouhooou would always make him laugh and a count to 4 would make him smile. He loved to mess with staff but always laugh at the end. He will be missed dearly and I will cherish the memories that I made with him and the laughs that we have shared. My sincere condolences to Bobby’s family at this time, my heart goes out to you ❤️.

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy to Mrs. Fink and the rest of the family on the loss of their beloved Bobby. Mrs. Fink you have been such a dedicated and loving mother to Bobby and he was so blessed to have you as a mom, and you were just as blessed to have him as a son. Bobby's smile would light up the room everytime I would say, "Bobby, Mommy is coming to get you today!". Bobby will be remembered for his huge sense of humor, his contagious laugh and his bright smile. Please know that you and your family are in my prayers during this very difficult time. In December of 2019, Annisa and I decided to get everyone dressed up and take some holiday pictures. So I would like to share that picture as well as a picture of Bobby laughing at us while we struggled to get everyone in their position for the picture lol. This is my favorite picture that sits above the fireplace at Rose Lane. Rose Lane will never we be the same without you, you will be missed but never forgotten. We love you Bobby ❤ - Yasmin Garrison
