Grandma Rita- My best memory of my grandmother is in the park (Glen Island). I will never forget our conversations, the smell in the air, her friends (she was the “mayor”) and of course the feeding of the ducks (“mucks”). I’ll never forget me and her dancing to the music she loved. I picture her now with Grandpa dancing in the clouds. She was an incredible sister, aunt, mother and grandmother. She never gave up on anyone. I know she loved my sisters and me very much. I wish I could describe to everyone how she taught us to be happy and just simply smile. You just felt it when you were around her. My father was her sunshine; she is mine. “Smile though your heart is aching.
