Richard ("Dick") A. Davanzo, 82, a long time resident of Eastchester, NY died on January 17, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Constance "Connie" Davanzo. Loving father of Richard and his wife Donna , and Ronald and his wife Lisa Davanzo. Dear brother of Norma Oronzio and the late Fay Gotti, Dorothy Curran, Joseph, Raymond, Armando (Gene), Paris (Pat). Loving grandfather of Christopher, Alyssa, and Stephen Davanzo. Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews. Richard proudly served his country as a member of the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corp. He was a 27 year veteran of the Eastchester Fire Dept., serving as a past President of the UPFA, and also as a past trustee of the NY Police and Fire Retiree Association. Richard loved to travel with Connie and friends. Visitation will be held at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC, Eastchester, on Thursday Jan. 21, 2010, from 7-9PM, and Friday Jan. 22, 2010 from 2-4 & 7-9PM. Funeral Mass, Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2010 at 9:30AM followed by entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
