Peter A McGregor, 81, died Jan. 23 2010. He was born in Edinburgh, Scot land on August 9, 1928 to the late Alexander P. and Elizabeth (Anderson) McGregor. He was instrumental in the development of polysomnography. He was the founder of the ASST (American Association of Sleep Technologist), formerly the APT. He was the world's first registered sleep technologist and the administrator of sleep-wake disorder center at Montefiore Hospital, Bronx, NY. Peter is survived by his loving wife Barbara(Yatsko) McGregor, his dear children; Kenneth Dean Tucker, Barbara Tucker O'Brochta, Thirsa Ann Paray and Peter McGregor, Jr. and beloved grandchildren Adam Paray and Kimberky Tucker.
