Peter Egan, 82, of Mount Vernon died on June 4, 2012. Beloved husband of Mary Egan. Loving father of Peter, Mary (Anthony) Mastronardi, James, Paul, and the late Michael. Cherished grandfather of Kristen and Michael Mastronardi. Dear brother of Maureen Hillen. Loving uncle to several nieces and nephews.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War. He worked as a plumber for 32 years, then worked for the Post Office for 12 years, retiring in 1992. He was an avid fan of the NY Yankees and the NY Giants. His only loving concern in life was for his wife, children, and family.
