Pasquale Schiavone, known to friends and family as "Patsy", was born in San Marzano, Italy on November 22, 1932,and passed away onNovember 3, 2012.He was the son of Francesco Schiavone and Elisa Ciancia Schiavone. He was a resident of the Town of Eastchester for the past 50 years and more recently of Heritage Hills, Somers, NY. Patsy can be most well remembered as a foreman for the Village of Bronxville, a dedicated employee for forty years from 1959 until his retirement in 1999. He was an avid gardener and was most happy working in his garden. He loved taking trips to his home in Cape Cod, MA. and spending time with his family there. After a long illness, he passed away peacefully at his home in accordance with his wishes. He is survived by his wife Antoinette, daughters Bernadette Cubita and Elisa Di Bari, son-in-law John Di Bari and grandchildren Jonathan and Justin Di Bari. He is also survived by his sister, Tina Fiorini and Brother Ralpheal Schiavone of Florence, Italy and nieces and nephews and relatives from the Schiavone, Dotoli, and Carapella families. Visitation will be held on Wednesday November 7, 2012 from 9 to 10 AM at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester, NY, followed by a funeral mass of the requiem at Immaculate Conception Church at 10:30 AM. Entombment to follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
