Nelsa Magnan passed on October 21st at the age of 98. She died peacefully at home with her family by her side. Nelsa and her late husband Dominick, played an important role in the history of the Furlane community in New York. Much loved mother of Diana (Larry) Piergrossi, Michael (Teri) Magnan, John (Nancy) Magnan, Paul Magnan, Lana (the late Ross) Schnitzer, Dominick Magnan, and the late David Magnan. Loving grandmother to Lisa (Dan) Schock, Dina (John) Cannistraci, Lawrence (Natalie) Piergrossi, Lori (John) Walzer, J.P. (Heather) Magnan, Christian Magnan, Matthew Magnan, Kristen Schnitzer Ferranti, David (Caitlin) Schnitzer, and Ross Schnitzer, Jr.; and great grandmother to Andrew, Daniel and Nicholas Cannistraci, Diana and Johnny Piergrossi, Jack and Ryan Walzer, Campbell and Reed Magnan, Raymond, Mia, Tessa, and Nicholas Ferranti. Dear sister of Amelio (Lorraine) Coletti and the late Mario Coletti. Aunt of Jeffrey Coletti and Linda Coletti; Mario (Joyce), Rudy (Maria) and Louis (Sylvie) Magnan; Albert (Irene) Indri and Vincent (Lucy) Maraldo.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Wednesday, October 24, 2018, 4-8pm. Mass, Thursday October 25, 2018 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Mausoleum.
