Mike was one of the highest integrity guys I have ever know
The first time I ever met Mike was at his wedding. I could see how absolutely besotted he was with Marybeth and she with him. I have been so blessed to be part of this family all these years. I saw Mike's love for his wife only increase over the years and magnify in quantum proportion with the birth of his daughter Lizzie. His devotion to his family is one of the things that he shared openly, as readily as the smile on his face. Mike was generous of spirit, he always was looking to help and to make someone's journey a little easier, a little safer. I remember him telling me he was going to become a fireman no matter how long it took and he did, he was a man of his word. The first time he came to our home in CT as we had just moved in he bee lined it for the furnace to double check that everything was safe, then he checked the fuse box and the electrical panels to make sure everything was in order. He tended to leave people, places and things better than how he found them. His legacy is his beloved family who are also dearly loved by many in our family and community. I will miss him dearly and am comforted to know that the love he held for his family and friends never dies and will live on forever in our hearts. Bod bless you Mike. We will do everything in our power to help take care of your Marybeth and your beloved Lizzie. I know if there is anyway at all you can watch over them as thier spiritual guardian you will because not even mortal endings could stop your devotion to them. Be at peace Mike, thank you for all your kindnesses and service. Love you. Mary
