Mary C. Hayes, 80, native of County Carlow, Ireland and longtime resident of Tuckahoe and Eastchester, died on April 12, 2012. Beloved wife of Edward J. Hayes for 60 years, devoted mother of John Hayes and his wife Mary, Mary Clare McLaughlin and her husband Al and Noreen Vogel and her husband Artie. Dear sister of Colette O'Neill and Nora Kennedy and her husband Christie and the late John, Pat, Ned and Tim Horahan. Cherished grandmother of Eamonn, Eoghan and Conall Hayes, Brendan (Colleen), Brian and Sean McLaughlin and Claire Marie, Colleen and Timothy Vogel. Great grandmother of James McLaughlin. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary and her husband Edward were among the founding members of the Eastchester Irish American Club where the friendships they made over the years have been an important part of their life. They have been devoted parishioners of the Immaculate Conception Church for over 50 years.
