CHRYSTAL, Marjorie Helen (Stohldrier). Marjorie Chrystal, 100, of Eastchester, NY passed away November 11, 2019, at the Wartburg. She was the daughter of Kathryn and Henry Stohldrier, and the beloved wife of Paul H. Sr. All deceased. Born in the Bronx, NY, Tudge, as she was fondly known, grew up in Bronxville, NY. She then moved two blocks away and lived in Tuckahoe. She moved to Eastchester and then The Wartburg nursing facility. She graduated from the Washington School of Secretaries, and went on to work for Fish and Marvin Real Estate, and Chase Bank, all in Manhattan. She was very active in the Rosary Society and went to Daily Mass. Later in life, she went to work for her son Doug at his business. She loved all his customers and enjoyed being there to help out. She is survived by her loving children, Linda C. Savino, Paul H. Jr. (Patricia), Margaret (Meg) Moore, and Douglas (Toni). Grandchildren Jennifer Savino, Michael Chrystal, Kimberly Moore, James Chrystal, Morgan, and Brian Chrystal. She is also survived by her cousin Grace Kelly of FL, and several nieces and nephews. Her sister Doris predeceased her.
Calling hours at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main Street, Tuckahoe is on Thursday, November 14th from 5 pm – 9 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Immaculate Conception Church, 53 Winter Hill Road at 9:30 am on Friday, November 15th. Burial immediately following at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla, 10 West Stevens Ave. Hawthorne NY. In lieu of flowers, you may make a donation to The Wartburg. One Wartburg Place, Mt. Vernon, NY 10552 in her name.
