Margaret C. (Peggy) Reid, of Southbury, CT, originally from Eastchester, NY, passed away on July 18, 2012 at the age of 82.She was born on November 20, 1929 to the late William and Mary (O'Brien) Hunter in Bronxville, NY. Margaret is survived by her husband Arthur J. Reid Sr. whom she married on September 8, 1951 at Immaculate Conception Church.She is also survived by her children, Arthur J. Reid Jr. (Julie), Barbara Cantatore (Frank), Marilyn Reid, David Reid (Mary Beth), Edward Reid , and son-in-law Gary Davis Sr. Along with her children she is also survived by her sister Ann Blum, and brothers Robert and James Hunter, grandchildren, Gary Davis Jr., Christopher Reid, Jessica Horton, Ryan Reid, Hilary Reid, Alex Cantatore, Seann Cantatore, Cole Reid and her great-grandchild Madison Davis. Margaret was predeceased by her two children William Reid, and Christine Davis, brothers, John F. Hunter, William R. Hunter Jr. Charles D. Hunter and a sister Mary McGovern. Memorial visitation will be held at THE WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC., EASTCHESTER on Sunday July 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday July 23, 2012 at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow in Holy Mount Cemetery.
