Margaret (Peggy) Dowd (née Meegan) entered into rest on May 30, 2023. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Bronx, NY on February 5, 1942, to Joseph and Margaret Meegan. She married the love of her life Patrick Dowd on June 23, 1962 who passed in 2012.

Peggy is survived by one daughter Marguerite Scally and her husband Brian of Irvington, NY. She is also survived by three sons, Patrick and his wife Tina of Sarasota FL, Edward of White Plains NY, and Robert and his wife Jennifer of New York City.

Peggy was a loving grandmother to her 11 grandchildren: Brian, Connor, Meegan, Jennifer, Patrick, Mackenzie, Reilly, Reagan, Logan, Abby, and Chase. She is also survived by her sisters Joan Stabile and Grace Dellapi and was predeceased by sisters Elizabeth Lubrino and Kathleen Cohn.

Visitation will be held on Thursday June 8, 2023 from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00 to 9:00pm at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. in Eastchester, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday June 9, at 10:45am at St Joseph’s Church in Bronxville.
