I was in Joyce's fifth and sixth grade classes at grammar school. Joyce was outgoing, more physically mature, and a class leader. My family moved to Eastchester a few years before she did, and we were in high school together. Had not seen her since we graduated, and my mother moved to Long Island, so I was not in the area to visit friends,who also had moved away. I have our class picture from Lincoln School. It is sad to learn about her and her family in this way, but my condolences to her family, and I remember her with fondness.
