Eventhough a year has passed I still miss this wonderful woman and friend. I miss the chats, the ‘meeting up’ events, the positive attitude she always exhibited! I hope she is watching over us now.

Johanna was one of the rare people you meet in life. She was kind, pleasant, generous, thoughtful, and always willing to give to others and not count the cost. She was upbeat and gracious. Not only did she come from the same idyllic village of Rower as I did but my connection with her throughout the years in NY were very special. We talked on the phone and met for parties and meals on many occasions. We had a circle of friends that kept in touch as much as possible. Since Covid arrived we unfortunately did not meet up as much. I will certainly miss her but I know her struggles are over. Rest in Peace dear friend!

Thank you for the memories. The life you have shown us. The kindness you portrayed throughout your life. For the strength to survive the road put before you with faith dignity love laughter and above all never give up and stay the journey for you will succeed. May we as your family having learned from you be as gracious steadfast and as humble in our lives. Thank You. We are Blessed to be a part of yours. Rest in Peace
