I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Jane. She and I were friends, members of the Class of 1956 at Eastchester HS. I have lived in California since 1958 so it wasn't until 1992, at our class reunion that I saw her again. I was so pleased to see her and, of course, we immediately talked about Johnnie Ray. In Dec 1952 Johnnie was headlining the live stage show at the Capitol Theater in NYC . There were others who joined us, but Jane and I were the only ones who went to the city for 3-4 days by which time we had seen the stage show and the movie 12-15 times. All that for the price of a movie ticket a day. We managed to get seats in the front row most days and when Johnnie threw his handkerchief out into the audience I managed to catch it at one of those days. I carefully cut it in half, giving 1/2 to Jane. It was so much fun and will always be one of my favorite memories My condolences to her family.
