Condolence: Very sad that such a wonderful person/teacher from my childhood memories has passed. She wasn't my kindergarten teacher in P.S 94 in the 1960's ( mine was Mrs. Weiss ) next door , but I will always recall how nice and sweet of a person she was...even to this day .. some 40 odd years later.

Condolence: Mrs. Toumbakis was my Kindergarten teacher back in the late '60s. She was a dear friend of my family for over 40 years. I am utterly heartbroken. She had lost her husband early in life and then lost her beloved daughter, Anne, to a car accident over 10 years ago. Mrs. Toumbakis was a lovely person. We exchanged Christmas cards every year. How many people can say that they danced with their Kindergarten teacher at their wedding? I can. I will never forget you. Godspeed.

Condolence: I was shocked and saddened to hear of Georgia's death. I knew Georgia through our Tuesday afternoon Recovery Program in Yonkers, and I always enjoyed talking with her. She was a very interesting and pleasant lady. I haven't gone to Recovery for several months due to other commitments but I will soon and I will miss Georgia terribly. God bless! Sincerely, Eileen

Condolence: I first met Georgia in 1989 when, in St. Vladimir's Seminary Chapel, I was received into the Orthodox Church. She became then--and has remained--a very loving and caring friend, driving me to Divine Liturgy at St. Vladimir's and to Holy Week services, and supporting me along my journey in Orthodoxy.

Condolence: I'm shocked and saddened to hear about my great Aunt's death. The last time I saw her was at my sister Kate's wedding in 2008 where she was lively and full of energy. My thoughts are with her family.
