Dear Rose and family:

Please accept this message of heart-felt sympathy at the loss of your dear husband and father.

I came to know Manny over the last 20 years and always appreciated his cheerful nature and great sense of humor. He was always pleasant, respectful and smiling when he came to the counter at Scarsdale village hall and that is how I will remember him.

I feel a real sense of sadness at his passing, especially since I never got a chance to wish him well. I saw him about a month ago and never would have guessed he was so sick. It is even more sad to know that he was taken at such a young age.

In your grief, I hope it is a little comforting for you to know that many of us at village hall loved and appreciated him. He left an impression on me and am thankful to have known him. RIP Manny.

I am so sorry to hear this sad news. I met Manny 30 years ago when we moved to Edgewood. We learned he and Rose were high school sweethearts and he seemed to adore "Rosie". Both Manny and Rose generously helped us by providing a safe and nurturing environment in their own home for our children while we worked. Manny offered his architectural know how to help us remodel our home.
I will always remember Manny as a "big" man. He had a big laugh, a big frame and a big heart. Rest in peace, Emmanuel. My heart goes out to Rose, Christina and Paul.
