Ellen C. Petrone (nee Albanese), of Scarsdale, passed away on May 21, 2012. She was born on February 14, 1923 to the late Antonio and Pauline (Polesano) Albanese in Tuckahoe, NY. Ellen worked as a Clerk for Con Edison in White Plains for many years. She is survived by her sons, Dennis R. Petrone and his wife Joan of Scarsdale, NY, and Thomas A. Petrone and his wife Linda of Greenwich, CT, grandchildren, Carley Petrone, Tyler Petrone, and John Albert Walter. She was predeceased by her husband, Albert Petrone on October 25, 2000, her daughter, Mary Ellen Walter and son-in-law John Walter III. Ellen was also predeceased by her brothers Joseph Albanese and Fred Albanese and her sisters Philomena Iannacone, Rose Passille and Ann Massello. Visitation will be held on Tuesday May 22, 2012 from 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. A mass of requiem will be held on Thursday May 24, 2012 at 10 AM at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carmen Rd. Scarsdale, NY. Interment to follow at the Beechwoods Cemetery in New Rochelle.
