Catherine Stahl, of Somers, formerly of Eastchester died on October 5, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Adolph G. Stahl, Jr. Loving mother of Joan (Alan) Ast, James (Barbara) Stahl, Julia (Jack) Walsh, and the late John Stahl. Cherished grandmother of Toby (Rebecca) Ast, Joy Ast, Laura (Brandon) Rhymes, Stephen (Aleesha) Ast, Eric Ast, John Walsh, Stephen Walsh, Samantha Stahl, and great grandmother of Hunter and Aubrey Catherine Rhymes.
Catherine married Adolph on November 15, 1947 at St. Ursula's Church in Mt. Vernon. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church in Tuckahoe for over 60 years. Always an active member of her church community, she served as president of the Catholic Women's Club.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Monday 2-4 and 7-9pm. Requiem Mass Tuesday October 9th at 10:30am at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment to follow at Holy Mount Cemetery.
