As part of a lively, high spirited high school class there was always some shenanigans going on in the classroom. I'd always be looking for Brenda to see what her take was. If she wasn't in the middle of the shenanigans, Brenda would be off to the side, eyes sparkling, trying to control her mirth. She was such a life force. Smart, kind, witty, competitive, Brenda's healthy sense of the absurd was a gift to us all. Please accept my sincere condolences. How lucky we all were to know her.
