A Wonderful Mom

Mom, we will dearly miss you and your unwavering love and support. You were the greatest mother, wife, and grandmother that anyone could ask for. Your passing has saddened so many people that have been privileged to know you and have shared everlasting memories. It seemed, in recent years, that you never got a break from one illness or another, and yet you continued to worry more about your family and friends than yourself. You were selfless through your final days. You were dad's krutch in many ways, keeping him going through his struggles with health issues as they arose and still had time to support Marlo and I whenever we called on you. I will always remember all of the good times, the family parties, reunions, trips to NH, Alaska, PA, the Jersey Shore and others, but most of all, I will cherish the simple daily visits to your house (from 15 ft away)and enjoying just sitting on the couch with you, sharing the stories of Ryan and Jillian's daily escapades and other comical issues of the week. You were always there to listen. As we explain to Ryan and Jillian that Nana has gone to rest in heaven, where she can enjoy being with the ones she loved who have gone before her (Aunt Peggy, Aunt Mossie, Aunt Shirlie, Uncle Bubs, Uncle Don H., Uncle Jack, Uncle Don B.,her parents, Julius, and loved ones), they are sad, but believe, as we do, that Nana will watch over all of us until we meet again. They miss you immensely and loved to visit and share their stories and accomplishments (Ryan's daily batting and pitching statistics and Jillian's fashion and performance prowess). They will continue their routines with Pop-Pop,which would be your concern, but there will be a very special void. Your love for all of your grandchildren was unparalleled. You have taught them much about love of family. You can rest knowing that we will always take care of Dad, as you and I spoke of in your final days. You molded a loving family that understands the true sense of what family means. I can go on forever, but I will end by saying that I love you and miss you and am comforted in knowing that you are at peace and we will meet again. I'm sure that your welcoming committee in heaven will keep you smiling through eternity. You were the best! All my Love, Jeff
