Obituary for Alphonse Al Salerno
Salerno, Alphonse (Al), 74, of White Plains, NY died after a courageous battle with cancer.
A graduate of Oswego State University and City College of New York; he served in the US Army for two years. Al taught high school in California and New Rochelle before opening Salerno's Coach House Restaurant. Since retiring in 2005, Al's passion has been golf.
Al is survived by wife, Jennie, son, Scott of Brooklyn and brothers, Edward of Bronxville, George of Eastchester.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 7th, 1 - 2:30 at Westchester Funeral Home at 190 Main Street in Eastchester. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Calvary Hospital, Bronx, NY.
