Michele LaVerdi, 48, of Eastchester, passed away on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Calvary Hospital, Bronx, New York. Michele was born in the Bronx, the daughter of Veronica (Rockwell) and John Mellon. She married Rosario (Rob) LaVerdi on June 21, 2003 at Our Lady of Solace, Bronx NY and is the beloved mother of Kelly Mellon. She was employed as a teacher at Enrico Fermi School in Yonkers. Michele is survived by her husband Rob LaVerdi; her daughter Kelly Mellon; her mother Veronica Mellon, her sister Tracy Britton and her four-legged friend, Shannon. The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc, Eastchester on Saturday June 23, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 7:00pm-9:00pm and on Sunday June 24, 2018 from 2:00pm-4:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, June 25, 2018, at 10:00AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe, NY.
