Our Direct Cremation Service Options Include:

  • Transportation of the deceased from the hospital, home, nursing facility, or coroner’s office to the crematory
  • Completion of all required paperwork
  • Obtaining and filing the required authorizations, certificates, and permits
  • Transfer of the the remains to the funeral home (within 20 miles)
  • Transfer to the crematory and preparation of the remains for single family member identification

  • Alternative containers encase the body and can be made of materials like fiberboard or composition materials (with or without an outside covering). 
  • The casket is an additional cost. See our funeral home casket price list.
  • If you want to arrange a direct cremation, you can use an alternative container. The containers we offer are cardboard containers. 
  • Cost for our direct cremation varies in terms of what container is chosen
