Mildred  Colombo
Mildred Colombo, 93, of Scarsdale, died on Thursday, March 29, 2018. Mildred was born on July 8, 1924 to the late Antonio and Rosalie (née Inglese) Figundio. Mildred is survived by her daughters; Annette (Robert) Shanley and Diane (John) Moccia and her grandchildren; Laura, Erik and Tara Shanley and Danielle Moccia-Sabo. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Colombo.

Mildred was beloved by her family and friends. After high school, Mildred graduated from Traphagen School of Fashion in Manhattan, NY. She met her future husband Joseph, the love of her life, on a blind date. They married in 1947. She was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family. She spent the last 10 years of her life at St Cabrini Nursing Home, where she had an active social life and bingo routine. Her family will miss her deeply and would like to thank the care and dedication that was shown by everyone at St Cabrini.

The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment to follow at Beechwoods Cemetery, New Rochelle.
