Obituary for Agnes Migliore (Greco)

Agnes Migliore (Greco)
Agnes ("Aggie") Joan Greco Migliore, our beautiful beloved mom, died on Saint Patrick's Day, Saturday, March 17, 2018 with her loving family by her side. She was 93 years old. Agnes was from Tuckahoe, NY, where she lived with her parents, Emma and Alfred, and 4 siblings, Sue, Fred, Betty and Rudy (all deceased). She settled in Bronxville after marrying our beloved dad, Sam, who passed away in 2009.
Mom taught us the art of style and grace, which she learned inherently from her stylish Italian mother who was an amazing dress designer. Everyone knew our mom as the most fashionable person in the room wherever she went. (She wore 24-hour lipstick to all 3 of her knee and hip surgeries, assuring it would still be on when she got to the recovery room.) She would carry that fashionista spirit with her throughout her life. We are quite confident that our mom is somewhere looking gorgeous wearing a unique and stunning ensemble, her collar up, making someone laugh.
Our mom's charm was her trademark. She always made people feel at home with her engaging personality and welcoming way. She was the most amazing cook and baker who spoiled us all with her ability to whip something up at a moment's notice. She was a great friend who maintained lifelong friendships from her childhood. When you met our mom, you never forgot her. We will miss her more than words can ever say.
Agnes is survived by her three children, Lydia Migliore Behrends, Robert Migliore and Jane Migliore, her daughters-in-law Susan Partenza Migliore and Cynara Palmer; her son-in-law Gene Behrends; her three grandchildren, Lana, Erik and Noah; her nieces and nephew, Susan Palumbo Fazio (Frank Fazio), Lisa Palumbo DeLaura (Joe DeLaura) and Louis Palumbo (Toni Palumbo), and their children; and her cousin Pauline DiRocco and all her children.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Maria Ferreri Children's Hospital, Valhalla, NY.
Memorial Services will be held at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St, Tuckahoe, NY, on Thursday, March 22nd from 5 to 9 pm. Funeral mass will be held on Friday, March 23rd at 9:30 am at Church of the Assumption, 100 Pleasant Avenue, Tuckahoe, NY.
