Obituary for Clara Marie Spatafore (Gualtieri)

Clara Marie Spatafore (Gualtieri)
Clara (Clementina) Marie Spatafore, 92, of New Rochelle died on February 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Ernest V. Spatafore. Loving mother of Rinamarie Spatafore Bonventre, and Ernest Spatafore, and mother in law of William Bonventre. Cherished grandmother of Lauren Spatafore.
Clara was devoted to the church, the Sacred Heart, the Divine Mercy and the Blessed Mother. Family was the most important thing to her; she was married to her soulmate Ernest for almost 40 years before he died in 2000. She was an excellent and avid cook, possessing a generosity of spirit and always welcoming everyone to her home. She was a lover of music and the arts and up until 5 years ago she was still attending her sons gigs. She was known for her "one liners" especially towards the end of her life.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Thursday, February 15, 2018, 7-9 pm and Friday, February 16, 2018, 2-4 and 7-9pm. Mass, Saturday February 17, 2018 at 10:00 am at St. Pius X Church, Scarsdale. Entombment to follow at Ferncliff Cemetery. To sign our online guestbook visit www.westchesterfuneralhome.com
