Condolence: As I sit here and try to explain who Grandma was I feel my words will come short to describe a woman who was loved by all that knew her. I was extremely fortunate to have known Grandma. She was the type of person that could warm your soul through her smile and presence. When she entered the room, she would light it up through her wonderfully detailed stories, making the past seem like it just had happened. She always found the energy to play and interact with all of her great grandchildren as if she was one of them. Her presence was truly a gift to all of us. I am honored that she was apart of my life and even more proud to have become a part of her family. I will be forever grateful for her being so influential to my wife. I know she became the wonderful mother that she is because of the love that Grandma showed to her.

From the first day I met you to the end, you had continuous open arms with big warm hugs. I am entirely grateful for all that you have done. For 92 years this world was lucky enough to have this angel and now we are lucky enough to have her looking over all of us. May you get the rest and peace that you so deserve. Love you..love you more.

Condolence: Heaven gains another angel today, although she had already been one here on earth for some time. My grandmother meant more to me than I could ever put into words. The one person in this entire world that I can honestly say showed me what unconditional love was. Many people would rightfully shy away from raising another set of children in their "Golden Years", yet she embraced it. She had me on a pedestal and always let me know how grateful she was for me. I will cherish the memories of rooming with her, watching Golden Girls and Wonder Years, to riding our bikes up to the store and balancing all of our bags on the handlebars (all the while hoping they wouldn't get caught in the spokes). She was the keeper of sound advice and my biggest fan. I hope that I can come close to making my children feel the same love that she gave to me. Growing up I had a competition with her every night where we would see who could say, "I love you and I love you more" first. We held on to that competition through the years. The last true smile that she gave to me was earlier this week when I said it as I kissed her good bye for the day.

May you be reunited with your children and parents and I will hold your great grandchildren close in comfort as you always told me, "Children are the best of remedies"...and I love you and I love you more.
