Obituary for John Joseph Mosca

Sadly, we announce the passing of John Joseph Mosca June 25, 2017. John was born to Carmine and Madeline Mosca on January 16, 1931. A longtime resident of Eastchester, he spent 30 years as owner of JJ Mosca Caterers after which 10 more years as General Manager of the Glen Island Casino.
He was a man of stories, success and accomplishments of his era. A memorable time that will always be remembered. He served as an Army Sargeant in the Korean War and received a Bronze Star.
He is survived by his daughters Carolann Mosca and Jeanmarie Vivian (Ken), grandchildren Giana, Nicholas, and Nicole and his brother Joseph (Yvonne). He is predeceased by his wife Geraldine and son Carmine, two brothers Anthony and Peter and his sister Rose Sugantino.
Visiting hours will be Thursday, July 6th from 9:00am to 11:00am, at Westchester Funeral Home, Eastchester immediately following a Memorial Burial Service at Beech-Woods Cemetery, New Rochelle.
