Condolence: Dear Mrs. Wood and Family: Arline and I were so sorry to learn about George's passing. We worked with him as fellow teachers in the Yonkers Public Schools. For over 25 years, George and I coached the bowling teams for our respective high schools. We enjoyed a mutual respect for each other. George was a caring and competent educator and coach. I always looked forward to our times together at the bowling alley. Please accept our deepest condolences. Arline and Steve Frey

Condolence: Dear Arlene and Charlie,

I was so sorry to hear of George's passing. I will always remember spending all those Saturday mornings working with all of you. I still have my folder with all the many years of my ID labels adorning it. When George retired, he could have just thrown it out. Instead, he thoughtfully put it in my mailbox. It was good to run into you and George in Shop Rite that day last year.

God Bless and Comfort you both,
Fran Weston

Condolence: Dear Arline,
When I received the city proclamation for The Villa Voice in October of 2015, it meant the world to me to look up and see you and George in the audience, two friends who had braved a torrential downpour to lend me support. That gesture alone sums up how kind and generous you were to me and our neighborhood. Now with George gone, we miss your strength of spirit even more.

XO Katherine
