Obituary for Lucille DeCairano

Lucille DeCairano has passed peacefully into heaven. Beloved wife of the late Anthony. Loving mother of Paul (Ann Marie) DeCairano and Jean DeCairano. Cherished grandmother of Jill (Lou) Cosentino, Michael, David and Steven DeCairano, and great grandmother of Amelia and Julia Cosentino.
Lucille had a passion for cooking. Everything was always homemade and delicious. She could make any dish at a moment's notice without a recipe. Another passion was a love of nature and animals. She enjoyed gardening and watching her plants bud and bloom. Being a Libra, she also had a great belief in fighting for legal rights. Holidays were spent with her family enjoying their company and conversation. She enjoyed helping her grandson with his pinewood derby car each year. Lucille also loved shopping at Lord and Taylor, buying presents for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had a heart of gold and was always compassionate and giving when others were in need. She was truly a great mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and especially her beloved cats and her dog Lukey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the New Rochelle Humane Society, 70 Portman Road, New Rochelle, NY 10801.
Memorial Service, Friday February 10, 2017 at 11:30 am at St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Eastchester. To sign our online guestbook visit www.westchesterfuneralhome.com
