Maria Antonia Gizzo, 92, of Lutz, FL formerly of Yonkers, died on December 28, 2016. She was born in Bisaccia Italy on November 6, 1924. Beloved wife of the late Carmine, to whom she was married for 64 years. Loving mother of Concetta (Vito) Cianfano, Maria Christina (Gerardo) Giordano, Angela (Giuseppe) Parisi, and the late Geraldine DiDona. Cherished grandmother of Rosanne Cianfano, Alfredo Cianfano, Antoniette (Doni) Weigand, Anthony (Lesa) Giordano, Phyllis (Rocco) Trombetta, Lucia (Matthew) Holsopple, Joseph Parisi, Marie (Nat) Mendoza, Angelo (Danielle) Forgione, and Joseph (Anita) Forgione. Great grandmother of Adriana and Victoria Weigand, Isabella, Lily, and Jacob Giordano, Julianna, Michael, and Joseph Trombetta, Alexia, Trevor and Nicolas Holsopple, Joseph Jr, Michael, and Alexander Forgione.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Monday, January 2, 2017, 2-4 and 7-9PM. Mass, Tuesday January 3, 2017 at 9:30 am at Assumption Church, Tuckahoe.
