Obituary for Antoinette Schiavone

Antoinette Schiavone
Antoinette Dotoli Schiavone, was born in Philadelphia, PA. on January 27, 1921. She was the daughter of Italian immigrants, Luigi Dotoli and Maria Zambri Dotoli. The Dotoli family moved to Tuckahoe, New York where Antoinette spent the majority of her adolescence. She was a graduate of Tuckahoe High School and a loyal employee of Burroughs Wellcome Company.
She was married to her devoted husband Pasquale "Patsy" Schiavone on April 7, 1956. They moved to the town of Eastchester in 1961. An avid member of the Rosary Society at Immaculate Conception Church, Antoinette was a devout Catholic. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Berndadette Schiavone Cubita and Elisa Schiavone Di Bari. Antoinette was a modest person but took the greatest pride in her two grandsons, Jonathan Di Bari, a third year law student at St. John's University Law School and Justin Di Bari, an Eagle Scout and freshman at Hofstra University.
In her later years, she relocated with her husband to Heritage Hills in Somers in 2011 where he predeceased her on November 3, 2012. After a full life spanning almost 96 years, she died peacefully on December 5, 2016. Antoinette is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, her son-in-law John Di Bari, her brother Patrick Dotoli, and her nieces and nephews from the Schiavone, Dotoli, and Carapella families. She was predeceased by her sister Rita Dotoli Carapella in 2012.
