Sabina Giarnella, A longtime resident of Eastchester died on November 12, 2016 at the age of 93. She was born on May 14, 1923 in Spigno Saturnia, Italy to the late Raffale and Leoneta (Tedseco) Giarnella. Beloved wife of the late Albert Giarnella. She is survived by her daughters Doris Ferraioli (Ralph), and Evelyn Giarnella. Sabina is also survived by her beloved grandchildren, Ellen Gorman, Jessica Ruggiero, Jean Marie Fisher, Anthony Tolisano and great grand-daughter, Sylvia Rose Fisher, a sister Maria Stella and a son in law Peter Gorman. Along with her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter Linda Gorman, 7 brothers and 2 sisters.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Tuesday, November 15, 2016, 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 16, 2016 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Hospital 1740 Eatschester Road Bronx, NY 10461, calvaryhospital.org.
