Obituary for Ursula P. Ciafone

Ursula P.  Ciafone
Ursula P. Ciafone, 102, of Yonkers, passed away on October 11, 2016. She was born on January 9, 1914 to the late Salvatore and Carmela (Russo) Barna in the Bronx, where she lived until she was in her eighties. She married Nicholas Ciafone on September 9, 1934 and was a homemaker and hairdresser with an affinity for playing cards and watching Jeopardy. She is survived by her son, Salvatore Ciafone and his wife, Angela; daughter-in-law, Claire Ciafone; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas; son, Frank; and sister, Mary Cascio.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 at 11am at Woodlawn Cemetery. Those wishing to partake in the funeral procession should line up outside of the Westchester Funeral Home no later than 10:30am.
