Condolences

Condolence From: David Trozzi
Condolence: May the good Lord comfort the Napolitano family with a peace of heart and the rejoicing of Brother Sam's entrance into the kingdom. Brother (Sam) Nicholas was such a loving and genuine servant of the Lord. It was always a true privilege to talk and listen to Brother Sam. His way of allowing the Lord to work in his life spread to all that knew him. His love for the Lord was so well illustrated by his spiritual life and the urgency of pleasing the Lord with utmost desire. I always enjoyed being around and listening with brother Sam and his Loving family. They always invited my family with open arms and such tremendous love, especially Jeff and Esther. No surprise! My prayers of comfort will continue and will remain in spirit. Love in Jesus, Brother David Trozzi.

Condolence From: Pastor John Massameno
Condolence: Pastor Napolitano, affectionately referred to as “Brother Sam,” served as the Christian Apostolic Church’s second pastor at the death of his father and the church’s founding pastor, Rev. Francesco Napolitano, in 1943 until 2010. From 2010, until his death, Rev. Napolitano served as the church’s senior pastor. His pastorate, thus, spanned a total of seventy-three years.
Pastor Napolitano understood and embraced his calling into the ministry as a child, when he insisted that his parents change his name from Nicholas to Samuel. He had learned about the Prophet Samuel in Sunday School and decided that his name should be changed because, like the Prophet, he wanted to serve God from his youth. When he assumed the pastorate, he was only twenty-four years of age.
Pastor Napolitano considered the most important teaching of Jesus to be, “Abide in Me, and I will abide in you.” John 15:4. He firmly believed that, as a Christian abides in Christ, the Holy Spirit would guide the individual into all truth. He proclaimed a non-denominational message that presented Jesus, not only as Savior of the World, but also as a believer’s personal Lord and King.
While his departure from this life leaves a great void for his spiritual family, it is also a reminder of the high calling to the Kingdom of God that he encouraged in all of us. May the Lord continue to comfort and sustain his blessed family.
We bid you farewell, for now, Bro. Sam! Thank you for your godly example of faithful service to Christ.
