Susan Frady, born February 7, 1962, in Mount Vernon, NY passes away quietly Monday night, March 28, 2016 at her home.
She was surrounded in presence and spirit by her husband Tom, family and friends.
Susan worked as an accountant for many years in the oil industry and with her husband in his businesses.
Susan was diagnosed with progressive multiple sclerosis in 1993. She survived a stroke and 2 heart attacks and was diagnosed with ovarian cancer in 2013.
Throughout her life, Susan’s true joys were her family, dogs (Shauna #1 and Shauna #2), friends (the girls – Cindy, Suzanne and Donna) and the New York Yankees. She always cherished get-togethers, especially Christmas Eve, so she could enjoy the company of her loving family.
She is survived by her husband Thomas G. Langer, sister Carolann and her husband Milton Kendrick, her brother Danny and wife Carol and their children; 2 step-children, Theodore and his son Mathew; Todd and his daughter Grace and his wife Jamie Langer and their children, several aunts and uncles; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Charles Daniel Frady, her mother Anna Marie (Mincello) Frady, and her brother Charles Patsy Frady, and her step-son Timothy Langer.
Visitation is Friday April 1, 2016 from 7 – 9 pm at Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St, Eastchester, NY 10709 914-337-4585. Services will be held Saturday April 2, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 8 Carmen Rd (@ Rt 22), Scarsdale, NY followed by interment at Kensico Cemetery in Valhalla, NY.
