Rose Angela Whitehead, beloved mother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away on January 17th, 2023. Angela lived a life full of love and friendship. She enjoyed traveling, visiting with friends and family, and summer days by the pool. She loved to dance and never missed a celebration. Angela is survived by her son whom she adored, Keith Whitehead, and Patty Tanner who holds a very special place in her heart. Angela will be greatly missed by her sisters Diane Betz and Collette Bargallo, and brother, Martin Connolly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Whitehead, parents Dympna and Kevin Connolly, as well as brothers, Patrick and Seamus Connolly. Aunt Angie’s memory will be cherished by her nieces and nephews, as well as many great-nieces and nephews. Cousins and friends from near and far will talk about times shared with Angela for years to come.
Although her time here on earth has ended, we pray that she is reunited with her husband, mother, family and friends who have gone before her, and that they are ready to dance.
The family will receive friends at the WESTCHESTER FUNERAL HOME, INC. EASTCHESTER Friday, January 20, 2023, 4-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday January 21, 2023 at 9:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, Tuckahoe. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven.
