Obituary for Malcolm Peterson

With great sorrow , we announce the passing of our kind, generous, caring and amazing husband, father, father in-law and Pop Pop, Malcolm Peterson.
Malcolm was born on September 19, 1946 in Yonkers, NY. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Yonkers. Malcolm was drafted into the United States Army where he proudly served for two years and was honorably discharged. In 1968, he married his love , Helen. They were married 54 years before his passing. Malcolm is survived by his devoted wife Helen and their four daughters Amy Clynes, husband Gene Clynes, Jessica Etman , husband Adam Etman, Erika Peterson, husband Michael Schiavone and Laura Gorman, husband Jon Gorman.
Malcolm truly loved his five grandchildren and always devoted his time to them. Tyler and Sydney Clynes, Avery Etman, Demetrio Malcolm Schiavone and Sarah Gorman will always and forever love and cherish their Pop Pop.
Malcolm was a proud member of Local 94, Operating Engineers, where he began his career. He transitioned into property management where he became the Vice President of Operations for Edward J Minskoff Equities in NYC. Malcolm was a proud member of BOMA, REBNY, and the New York State Honorary Fire Chiefs Association.
Malcolm was an avid hunter for over 50 years. He also loved golf and you could find him at Lake Isle golfing and driving around on his golf cart. The Yankees were his home team and he loved going to games with his family. He also appreciated music and going to concerts with Helen. Malcolm enjoyed nothing more than taking his family out to dinners and having everyone together as much as possible. He would help anyone, anytime and anywhere. Malcolm was generous and giving of his time. He was the greatest man we will ever know.
